mani mannion’s performance history began as a high school mascot, spinning records at clubs and college parties, and studying eurythmy at Camphill Special School. As a teacher in San Francisco and later in Boulder, mani directed youth groups in drum construction, improvisational composition and performance. mani performed as lyricist and vocalist across various genres, including Funk (Honey Taco), Surf (Sum-D), Rock (Smokey Joe, PlutoniK, Tunnel 5, LocoMotive), and Folk (PoG, The Clarks) acts in the SF Bay and Denver metro areas. mani continues to collaborate in live and studio projects. He currently performs in Red SPoRK (acoustic duo) & mani and the mayhem (original rock). mani’s original songs include: 49L, Left Lane Lover, Punch Drunk, Try Love and his holiday tune, Is It Christmas, or What?.
